According to Danish media outletEkstra Bladet, Marseille are rivalling Premier League side Leicester City over the possible signing of defensive midfielder come central defender Daniel Amartey.

A representative from the Premier League side is currently in Copenhagen in an attempt to close a £5.5m deal, but OM have also been in negotiations with the FC Copenhagen for the player. OM want to close the deal for around €6m, but Leicester are likely to have greater pulling power.
