Preview | Angers vs Monaco (30/01/16)
Angers will be aiming to bounce back from two consecutive losses when they take on Monaco at the Stade Jean-Bouin. The hosts had been sitting as high as second in the table, but defeats to Nice and PSG recently have seen them drop down to fifth. The manner in which they lost to PSG would have been the most concerning for boss Stephane Moulin, as his normally water-tight defence conceded five times.

And visitors Monaco have capitalised on Anger’s troubles, by replacing them in second place. Leonardo Jardim’s side are unbeaten in their last nine league outings and head into this match on the back of thrashing Toulouse 4-0 last weekend. Monaco now have the chance to make the runners up spot their own and handing another loss to Angers would be the perfect way to go about doing so.
Earlier this season, Monaco beat Angers 1-0 at the Stade Louis II, with Mario Pasalic scoring the only goal.
