AS Monaco’s backup goalkeeper Paul Nardi will join Rennes in the coming days as their first choice man between the sticks on a season-long loan without an option to buy.

The French youth international was also a target notably for EA Guingamp, who had held advanced talks, but, should he pass a medical, Nardi will join Rennes.
