Lille attacker Sofiane Boufal will travel to Southampton tomorrow for a medical ahead of a club-record deal for the Saints.

The fee is €20m excluding bonuses, as echoed by L’Équipe, with €4m of the bonuses and incentives very likely to be fulfilled.

Boufal has agreed to join Southampton, despite interest from Leicester and despite an unnamed Premier League side offering a better deal, according to L’Équipe.

There is a sell-on percentage fee in the deal, believed to be at around 8%, according to sources contacted by GFFN.

The player has agreed to a five year contract with Claude Puel’s men and will finalise details tomorrow.
