According to L’Équipe, PSG Sporting Director Patrick Kluivert has opened negotiations with Argentinian side River Plate for the transfer of 24 year old striker Lucas Alario.

The player has an €18m release clause. Les Parisiens are looking for a backup striker to Edinson Cavani, with Jean Kevin Augustin wanting to leave PSG on loan in January.
