Arson Investigating Sound Beach Garage Fire: Police
SOUND BEACH, NY —Arson Squad detectives are investigating a fire in Sound Beach on Saturday, a Suffolk police spokesperson said.
The fire broke out in a detached garage on Woodhull Landing Road just after 8 p.m., according to police.
No one was injured, police said.

It was one of at least two residential fires that broke out over the weekend.
Earlier in the day, A shed in the backyard of a home on Vera Place in East Patchogue caught fire at around 2:33 p.m. on Sunday, and no one was injured, according to police.

There were at least three brush fires between Saturday and Sunday in Brookhaven Town.
A brush fire broke out in the woods between Sipp Avenue and Oak Street in Medford at around 11:25 a.m. on Saturday.
At around 12:38 p.m., a brush fire broke out in a wooded area next to the eastbound Sunrise Highway service ramp near Station Road in North Bellport.
Then at around 2:27 a.m. on Sunday, another brush fire broke out in a wooded area near Horseblock Road and Long Island Avenue in Medford.
No one was injured.
