Toddler Found Floating In Pond At Oceanside Home

OCEANSIDE, CA — A toddler was pulled from a pond Tuesday afternoon in Oceanside, authorities said.

Police responded to a radio call shortly before 4 p.m. of a 1-and-a-half-year-old drowning victim in the 2800 block of Benet Road, according to the Oceanside Police Department.

“The child’s mother found the toddler floating in a small pond on the property and not breathing,” police Lt. Lieutenant Bill Weese said.
