Cops, FBI Investigating Unattended Death At Concord Hospital Parking Garage
CONCORD, NH — Police, state police, and the FBI are at the scene of an unattended death in a hospital parking garage on Langley Parkway in Concord Wednesday night.
Around 8:30 p.m., officers searched the area of Walker State Forest, Little Pond Road, and Thackeray Road for a Nissan Leaf with a New Hampshire registration where the driver was involved with a stop-and-hold request. The subject was also possibly armed. The report, the officer said, came from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
“If you guys can check that area pretty hard,” the officer said, “Let me know if you see that car.”

Several officers checked that area of the West End as well as other streets, trailheads, Winant and Marjory Swope parks, Fisk Road, Fiskill Farm Road, and District 5 Road.
At the same time, officers were also dealing with several young men at St. Paul’s School, who were supposedly trespassing and involved in a possible assault earlier in the day. One officer said nearly a dozen cars were parked on Stickney Avenue. A hit-and-run report was also taken from Warren Street and one of the vehicles reportedly from that crash was involved in a second crash on Hopkinton Road near Currier Road.

After not finding the Nissan, police began spreading out further, searching and the Auburn Street entrance of the dirt path to Langley Parkway and other addresses.
Around 9:15 p.m., an officer headed to Concord Hospital to check the area and 15 minutes later, reported finding the vehicle in the Langley Parkway garage and a person who appeared to be asleep in the backseat. Officers were unable to wake the person and requested fire and rescue teams.
Fire and rescue teams arrived and after a few minutes, they reportedly broke the glass to the vehicle and began taking the vitals of the person in the car.
Just before 10:30 p.m., the person was determined to be dead.
About 10 minutes later, the FBI arrived at the scene, according to scanner chatter.
At post time, the garage is still closed, with officers assisting hospital employees in removing their vehicles from the garage. A medical examiner has also been requested to the scene.
